NASA names "2012" most absurd science-fiction film of all time
According to NASA, 2012 was an "exceptional and extraordinary" example of Hollywood bad science. The movie featured neutrinos (which in real life can't interact with physical substances at all) causing solar flares, earthquakes, and tsunamis.
